Purpose-driven companies dedicated to giving back to communities: that makes our business heart beat faster. As a purpose-driven company, we create a positive impact for all stakeholders. Not only for our customers, partners, and employees, but also for our communities and society as a whole. Because giving back is simply part of our DNA, we have committed ourselves to the following initiatives:
We have signed the pledge to meet the United Nations’ goals for sustainable development, thus creating a better future together by 2030. While all commitments are equally important, we focus on the following goals: gender equality, fair work & economic growth, climate action, sea life, and partnerships.
B-Corps are companies that use their business for the greater good. With this certification, we measure our positive impact in 5 important areas: employees, customers, suppliers, society, and the environment. Naturally, we’re continuously working to improve these areas.
With Pledge 1%, companies promise to give 1% of their time, product, wealth, or profit back to the world. We are committed to donating at least 1% of our time, products, services, and profits.
We use our skill set to contribute in a number of ways:
We work with the following organisations to support these important goals and to work on long-term initiatives.
- Plastic Whale
- Maas CleanUp Foundation
Additionally, we focus on creating a more inclusive world, celebrating diversity, and making the environment cleaner. Our employees lead various activities with which we deploy our skill set – from organising design workshops to building technical solutions for farmers in Burundi. Everyone at Nextview is challenged to come up with ways in which we can contribute.
The Hague Hacks - Design for Activism
The Hague Hacks strives for technical solutions to support and defend human rights. Human rights activists and advocates, design thinkers, and technicians came together for an ideation session. We brought the world of human rights and technology together to turn ideas into action. Our goal was to create a prototype for a warning system that warns activists when their personal safety is threatened. In this way, we want to support the difficult and necessary work that they’re doing.
Respect Education Foundation - Hackathon
Respect Education Foundation brings respect in education to the classroom in order to create a more inclusive school system. Our Salesforce consultants came together for a hackathon in which we formed the main processes of the Respect Education Foundation in Salesforce. Of course, an implementation process takes more than a day, so we are continuously working together to make sure they get the most out of Salesforce.
