Amsterdam, June 15, 2021 – Nextview, the European Salesforce consultancy firm, announces that Karsten Ötschmann will be joining the Advisory Board as of July 1st. Ötschmann previously worked at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in various leadership roles, such as Technology Consulting Leader, and has more than 25 years of experience in the consulting business. In his new role, he will be advising Nextview’s management on the growth strategy to be pursued.
25 years of experience in successful growth of consultancies
In the more than 25 years that Ötschmann has been active, he has taken several consultancy firms to the next level. At Lodestone, Infosys Lodestone/Infosys Consulting and ultimately PwC, he was responsible for the go-to-market strategy and growth of technology business transformation services. At Nextview, Ötschmann has found his next challenge. The Salesforce consultancy received a substantial investment from Salesforce Ventures last year and will be opening Design Thinking Centers in Frankfurt, Munich and Berlin.
Karsten Ötschmann on his new appointment: “There is a great match on all fronts. Nextview’s design-led approach and customer-focused culture appealed to me immediately. The company takes good care of its employees, cares about its customers and recognizes its impact on society and the environment. I also see Nextview as the emerging independent Salesforce consultancy in the European market. Nextview’s consultative approach, leadership spirit, talented people and dedication to delivering business impact to its clients sets it apart from other consultancies. Nextview has enormous potential and I look forward to using my experience to help the company grow in the years ahead.”
Huub Waterval, CEO of Nextview: “I am very happy that Karsten will be joining us. Our goal is to further conquer the European market as a design-led consultancy, and his experience and advice will play a major role in making this happen. We are growing fast, and Karsten’s experience means he knows how to sustain that growth. I am convinced that with our current growth path we are well on the way to becoming the number one Salesforce consultancy in Europe.”
