Anypoint API Experience Hub

Anypoint API Experience Hub lets you build personalized API portals in minutes using out-of-the-box templates and portal builder capabilities powered by Salesforce Experience Cloud.

Salesforce has unveiled new enhancements for MuleSoft’s Anypoint API Experience Hub, a significant part of MuleSoft's comprehensive API management platform. The Hub is designed to allow businesses to quickly establish personalized API portals, utilizing pre-configured templates to simplify API accessibility and foster increased use and adoption. With 72% of today's customer interactions being digital, APIs play a pivotal role in delivering these experiences through the seamless integration of data and applications across various business processes. Effective API management, thus, ensures these digital resources are readily available, promoting their usage while maintaining top-tier quality, governance, and security standards for each API.

MuleSoft's market-leading platform, complemented by the Anypoint API Experience Hub, empowers businesses to establish a unified source of truth and a digital marketplace for all their enterprise APIs. It offers a diverse range of functions, including crafting and sharing simple API portals with pre-established templates, establishing branded API portals via the advanced portal builder capabilities of the Salesforce Experience Cloud, and fostering API usage across internal and partner communities through self-service API consumption. Companies can also document, govern, and publish any enterprise API across any gateway or environment, and garner insights on API usage, quality, and compliance through contextual analytics.

One practical application can be seen in a financial services company using the hub to share published APIs with its network of banks. This allows the banks to self-serve and access the APIs for various information and digital service delivery. The hub eradicates the need for custom coding, thereby facilitating the banks' IT teams in swiftly creating a comprehensive, custom site for sharing the APIs.

Gerry Egan, VP of Product Management at Salesforce, shares that their vision for API management on Anypoint Platform is all-encompassing. The goal is to make it uncomplicated and flexible for IT teams to manage the entire lifecycle of any API. The API Experience Hub enhances this vision by enabling enterprises to swiftly create captivating API portal experiences using pre-built templates for both internal and external use.

The API Experience Hub builds upon the latest advances in universal API management products. This includes the provision of end-to-end API governance using Anypoint API Governance and Anypoint API Manager, allowing for an extension of governance from API design to API instance. Interestingly, nearly every enterprise organization (99%) employs some form of API, and on average, API projects are now generating 38% of an organization's revenue, a marked increase from 35% in 2022.

Anypoint Code Builder

Anypoint Code Builder is a web-based integrated development environment based on Visual Studio Code. As many of you may already know, Anypoint Code Builder launched its Open Beta back in January 2023, since then, the team has been working hard to roll out new features for its Open Beta users.
