Amsterdam, August 11th 2021 – Nextview, the European Salesforce consultancy firm, has appointed Esther Bakker (34) as Director Growth & Talent. After three and a half years as Practice Manager at Nextview, Bakker’s new role will be to focus on recruitment policy, talent retention & development and the professionalisation of the Nextview Academy. In her previous position as Practice Manager, Bakker played a major role in the realization and development of Nextview’s design-led approach.
Focus on growth and people
As Practice Manager of the business consulting team, Bakker worked on strategic client issues and on the expansion of the team. In parallel to this role, she was involved in internal affairs, including designing the value proposition and positioning Nextview as an attractive employer. In the years before she joined Nextview, Bakker followed various paths within Capgemini Invent, including in Digital Customer Experience. After six years, Bakker found a challenging role with more entrepreneurship at Nextview.
Esther Bakker on her new position: “I am looking forward to fulfilling my vision of growth and talent in this position. Our ambition is to double the number of employees next year, and that brings great challenges. That is why I will be starting by preparing our internal organization for growth and professionalizing the Nextview Academy, which will consist of in-house onboarding and development programs for our colleagues. The great thing about Nextview is that there are many opportunities to grow. My new appointment is a prime example of this, with which I hope to inspire colleagues. Moreover, the speed at which Nextview is developing suits me well: a dynamic environment with many nice colleagues, where there is always a reason to celebrate.”
Huub Waterval, CEO of Nextview: “We are very happy with Esther as Director Growth & Talent. We are committed to doubling our staff by 2022, growing from 100 employees to 200. In achieving this, it is important that we safeguard Nextview’s family character and culture. Esther’s knowledge and experience are of great value in ensuring that Nextview’s values are upheld in all our talent development and growth activities. After all, our employees are our greatest assets. With Esther in her new role, we are confident that next year we will be able to throw another big party to celebrate our 200th employee.”
